Today is my cat Varla’s birthday…She’s a year old. I’m not sure the exact day she was born but that was when she was found by animal welfare volunteers.

inadequate food, no access to sunlight, non-existent medical care and 1 litter tray between them. After sterilizing all of the cats who were old enough, SCAD was reluctant to return the cats to such awful conditions, and after liaising with the carer of the cats, it was agreed that the best chance of a good future for Varla was for her to enter the SCAD adoption program.” No wonder she’s wary of humans. So glad she’s with me now!
